Children at St Mary’s are using the internet regularly in school to enhance their learning, and teaching about behaving responsibly online is part of the school’s curriculum.
In school we use a filtering system to prevent children accessing inappropriate sites, and talk to the children regularly about what they should do if they come across something that makes them worried or upset.

Most social media apps have a minimum age limit of 13. Pupils in primary school should not have access to these apps on their phones or tablets. | Gaming – gamin can be fun but all consuming. Set time limits and pay attention to the age ratings of games. |
